If you’re expecting a new grandchild into the family or recently welcomed a new addition, our Grandparent class is a great way for expectant grandparents to refresh their wisdom and get up to date knowledge on what’s changed since their own babies were born, including a 2 hour first aid session.

About the event
This workshop will focus on preparing grandparent’s & carers with the latest evidence based guidance around babies: whether it be birth, feeding, sleeping, or just caring. Led by experienced Midwives, we include a comprehensive 2 hour paediatric first aid awareness session which will give you confidence to know what actions to take if faced with a medical emergency.
Are they spoiling the baby by picking him up? What’s “safe sleep”? And where’s the talcum powder gone? - To answer all these questions and many more, join us for this refresher course for new grandparents & carers.
The Workshop will cover:
A 2 Hour Paediatric First Aid Awareness Session – CPR, Choking, Bumps, Burns, Breaks, Bleeding, Febrile Seizures and Meningitis & Sepsis Awareness
